Survey encourages yet another change
The biggest problem that I have in making this the perfect paddlin' site is that everyone likes different features and settings... and of course having to deal with all you paddlers. You all smell like wet dog!

But in the spirit of perfection I have added the ability to maximize the forum. You can now click on the [maximize] button (top of page) to expand the forum to full page, getting rid of the left menu's

I think this will make a few of you very happy, while others really wont care.

Please take the survey... it's really helping me make this place better

Please take a minute
Here's your chance - You can finally tell us what you think

Take a few minutes to take the Website Survey. This is your chance to anonymously critique the site. We will use the results of the survey to fix what's broken and add what you want to see. It's only 12 or maybe 15 questions, so it's not going to take long and it may really help to make this place even better.

Please take this seriously! If your going to take the survey, please be honest (i can take it).

Major improvements to the site
News Flash - pain in the ass project is finally showing progress

The Paddlin' Gallery has been completely refurbished. You can upload files to different albums as well as set up your own personal album

But the biggest thing is the new content wrapper I've just installed. Like everything else, it needed some massaging to get working properly but it seems to be doing exactly what it needs to do. What this means is that we can now view things like the gallery & river levels page without leaving the warm cozy feeling of www.paddletexas.com

300 Members
Congratulations to all
www.paddletexas.com members!!!

Some said it would never happen, others said it would take years!

While still others, the vast majority, still think that Texas has no boaters... well we showed em'

Thank you members 299, 300 & 301
this is a red letter day for paddletexas.com

December 7, 2004 will go down in history as the day that the Earth rose up to rejoice... ok it's not that big of a deal, but it's still pretty cool!!!

Tracy you are da man!
The River Levels Page is getting an update
Way to go Tracy!!!
our local computer guru is updating the river levels page. The quick reference you find on the main page is (so far) the same but the actual river levels page is getting overhauled. So far I see that we can now tell what rivers are rising, lowering or staying at the same level.

Thanks for the updates and continued great service Tracy!!! You can expect a christmas bonus... lets say, double what you normally get paid

Server Switch not yet complete
The server switch that we are being forced to go through by the bastard hackers out there in the cyberslums is still underway.

We lost a couple of days of posts and I think a couple of picture submissions to the gallery (feel free to resubmit)... Most things are working for you, the member, but I am having to manually forward user names and passwords to new members due to automated email issues that are beyond my control. It would also be helpful if you don't try to "watch this topic" in the forum... It simply sends me a returned email without making you aware of anything anyway.

This should only last a couple of days at most, but who can tell?
